Dina Bernardino is a Portuguese nurse with a Master’s degree and specialization in Community Nursing, with extensive experience in Primary Health Care. Her professional interests focus on nursing leadership, quality improvement, patient safety, health literacy, continuity of care, and integrated care. She develops and coordinates initiatives aimed at improving nursing practice and person - and family-centred care, including Alta Segura. She is also the author of “Manual de Sobrevivência para o Enfermeiro Gestor no Contexto de Saúde Português”, a recently published book addressing the practical challenges of nursing management and leadership within the Portuguese healthcare system.
